Using a single method of artifact delivery throughout the UX practice shows a certain level of maturity and quality.
When working with my team to come up with a single way to present our work to the enterprise, we evolved into using sketch and InVision. This unique combination of tools to deliver artifacts during our design sprints has been a real success.
This artifact became an output of the newly defined design process. The introduction of this new process helped to increate the pace and quality of work delivered by the UX team. Weekly output helped to gauge the speed of our teams and allowed everyone to see what can be done incrementally.
The definition of this new process established the maturity of the UX organization and prepared them to take the next step towards owning the entire experience.
The “design process” became transparent to our partners as they were given a clear view into how we progressed through the design approval process.
Once we shared our output with the InVision team, they let us know that no other partner had taken their product to this level of detail and complexity.
